Ministry is where faith becomes participation. Through Bible study, prayer, family life, service, discipleship and outreach, we seek to grow together and share the love of Christ.
Church life
More than attending church
We believe church is a family in which people worship together, learn together, care for one another and use their gifts in service.
These ministry areas provide opportunities to deepen your faith, build relationships, serve others and take an active part in the life of Agape.
Children are an important part of the Agape church family, and we want them to experience church as a place of joy, learning, belonging and spiritual growth.
Children’s Ministry supports age-appropriate Bible learning, worship, fellowship and activities that help children understand God’s love and build a personal relationship with Jesus.
Young people are an important part of the Agape church family today, not simply the church of tomorrow.
Youth Ministry seeks to help young people know Jesus personally, build meaningful Christian friendships, discover their gifts and take an active role in worship, service and church life.
We value Christian education as an important part of helping children, young people and adults grow intellectually, spiritually and practically.
At Agape, we encourage learning that is rooted in Christian values, strengthens faith in Jesus and prepares people to use their knowledge and abilities in service to others.
Healthy families are an important part of healthy churches and communities.
Family Ministries seeks to encourage strong marriages, intentional parenting, loving relationships and Christ-centred homes where every member of the family can grow in faith.
We believe that physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing are connected and that caring for our health is part of faithful Christian living.
Health Ministry encourages practical habits that support wellbeing and helps people understand biblical principles for living healthy, balanced and purposeful lives.
Personal Ministries encourages every believer to take part in sharing the hope of Jesus with others.
Through Bible study, friendship, outreach and personal witness, we seek to help people discover Scripture and develop a meaningful relationship with Christ.
Stewardship is about recognising that our time, abilities, influence and resources are gifts entrusted to us by God.
We encourage biblical stewardship that helps believers use what God has given them wisely, generously and faithfully for His work and for the good of others.
Women play an important role in the spiritual life, leadership and service of the church.
Women’s Ministries seeks to provide opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, mentorship, encouragement and service while supporting women in the different seasons of life.
